Idiom Contest
In order to deepen students' knowledge and understanding of idioms, the treasure of Chinese traditional culture, and improve their language ability and cultural accomplishment, on the afternoon of 4th December, the Primary School Division held the 'Spring Cup' Chinese idioms competition in the joint classroom in Grade Three.
To be concrete, there are four stages in this competition, with Level One being 'word dictation', Level Two 'memory competition', Level Three 'looking at pictures and guessing idioms', and Level Four 'idiom solitaire', during which the student representatives of the third grade actively raised their hands and answered the questions in lively atmosphere. Overall, this activity aroused students' love for the excellent traditional Chinese culture, thus playing a positive role in promoting the improvement of students' Chinese literacy.
